Hi, I’m Abby Ho, a fourth-year Commerce student at Queen’s University. This blog is a mini-journal and collection of my favorite things. Music, movies, television, fashion, entertainment and generally all things pretty.
I intend on using this space as a blog- a forum for me to share my thoughts and comments on events, entertainment news, marketing, public relations, and anything that makes me laugh or that I find interesting. To gain a better understanding of what my interests include read below for a grand list of my loves,
Please feel free to contact me if you have comments, or make posts on my page.
If you are interested- check out my other page to check out what I’ve worked on.
But much like any collection of writing…please read below for a list of my bias(es).

Here are things/people/places that you will likely read lots and lots about- even if you don’t want to. (as inspired by Lainey Gossip) or just potential biases that will undoubtedly emerged in my ‘writing’/ ‘blogging’
ALL movies starring: Hugh Grant, James McAvoy, Josh Hartnett, Leo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, and Christian Bale
Sushi: unagi, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, spider roll, rainbow roll… maki maki maki.
Music: currently my musical tastes are always changing. But staples for me include: The National, Travis, Keane, Bloc Party, Coldplay to name a few. But currently, loving loving loving dance music and lots of remixes- The Teenagers Remix, The Virgins, Asteroid Galaxy Tour, Crystal Castles, MGMT, Black People, Sound of Arrows etc.
Romantic comedies: and ‘chic’ movies with a hint of indie sensibility. *think indie on the ‘cusp’ of mainstream
Cosmetics, cosmetics, cosmetics, more cosmetics: my greatest weakness is Sephora
Audrey Hepburn: especially Breakfast at Tiffany’s AND Roman Holiday…OH and My Fair Lady.
Zooey Deschanel: her style, her acting, singing, EVERYTHING is just AWESOME!!! If I could be anyone, I would be her. Well…or Rachel Bilson. Or Whitney Port from the City…but that’s just cause she gets to do nothing for a living.
Musicals: My personal favorites are Moulin Rouge, High School Musical 3, Newsies, and The Sound of Music.
The use of CAPS and !!!: I am easily excitable- so please refrain from judgement of my over punctuation, and my over EXAGGERATION. I speak in hyperbole, so my apologies ahead of time for any future misunderstandings.

Why waste time on things you don’t like…but then again I guess here are things you will see I will avoid.
Kirsten Dunst: I cringe. I cannot stand her. Don’t know why. But some people trigger my upchuck reflex…she is one
anything I deem:
“FAKE DEEP“: adj. it is used to explain anything I think is TRYING TOO HARD, or generally unconvincing in their narrative, plot, sound etc. I suspect that lots of ‘trendy’ things are faux deep. It is pretty much anything that has passed the point of being cool and become overly commercialized, or just insincere to what it (the movie, the music, the book etc.) was supposed to be. ex) pretty much anything that is now at urban outfitters. Which is kinda a shame, since I love Urban Outfitters.
To be continued…
